Yes another of the named mysteries in Revelation.
(Revelation 17:5-6) And upon her forehead was written a name, a mystery: “Babylon the Great, the mother of the harlots and of the disgusting things of the earth.” 6 And I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the holy ones and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus.
So we already know the wildbeast murders, but this woman is riding the wildbeast, she is even spoken of as a kingdom unto herself:
(Revelation 17:9-11) “Here is where the intelligence that has wisdom comes in: The seven heads mean seven mountains, where the woman sits on top. 10 And there are seven kings: five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet arrived, but when he does arrive he must remain a short while. 11 And the wild beast that was but is not, it is also itself an eighth [king], but springs from the seven, and it goes off into destruction.
(Revelation 17:12-18) 12 “And the ten horns that you saw mean ten kings, who have not yet received a kingdom, but they do receive authority as kings one hour with the wild beast.
13 These have one thought, and so they give their power and authority to the wild beast.
14 These will battle with the Lamb, but, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them. Also, those called and chosen and faithful with him [will do so].”
15 And he says to me: “The waters that you saw, where the harlot is sitting, mean peoples and crowds and nations and tongues.
16 And the ten horns that you saw, and the wild beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her devastated and naked, and will eat up her fleshy parts and will completely burn her with fire.
17 For God put [it] into their hearts to carry out his thought, even to carry out [their] one thought by giving their kingdom to the wild beast, until the words of God will have been accomplished.
18 And the woman whom you saw means the great city that has a kingdom over the kings of the earth.”
But notice the “sovereignty transfer” of “give their power and authority” that we are witnessing into the “8th King” is tied in with this event of “Babylon’s destruction”, and that this is a multi-phase destruction:
will make her (1) devastated and naked, and will eat up her fleshy parts (2) and will completely burn her with fire. (3)
In another place:
(Revelation 17:4) And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and was adorned with gold and precious stone and pearls .
So this woman has riches, which these kings can access, yet the very power driving it, they too are in fear of:
(Revelation 18:9-10) 9 “And the kings of the earth who committed fornication with her and lived in shameless luxury will weep and beat themselves in grief over her, when they look at the smoke from the burning of her, 10 while they stand at a distance because of their fear of her torment
So this power of destruction, where “God put his thought into their (10 kings/horns) heart” comes from the locus of power of the 8th King.
(Revelation 17:17) For God put [it] into their hearts to carry out his thought.

I think that it is becoming more obvious that government deregulation for a number of years, aided a massive wealth transfer from the nation-state into the globalist coffers of this 8th Kings power center.
The wildbeast2 Anglo-American elite system (UK/US); Rev13:11-15 engineered this, and this has helped fund the massive US led Global NATO among other objectives maturing worldwide, and that is the “power and authority” given (gov, money, military), by the bought nation-state polticians, to this final global sovereignty attempt of this scarlet wildbeast, also an 8th King.
Notice this is more than just the “image of the wildbeast” though completely related, this is now the transferred power systems of the world, in control of a new entity which did formulate over years around the UN and all it’s elite supports which have influenced the nation-state national powers to have delivered this power unto them being the final wildbeast, the sacrlet wildbeast in Rev17:3; Rev17:12-16.
So as we know “gold”, “precious stone”, and “pearls” are all the riches of earth, sea and heavens, and her garment is scarlet in a royal position. In history only the priesthood itself ruled with the kings of the earth, since Babylon these priests are the “medicine men” who see oracles, visions, and make forecasts for wars and other things guided by their service to demons, though it looks like one of the many masked religions of earth.
That connectivity is not easily seen by the masses, but with the web and history books, we see that Christendom for example was involved in wars since it went Roman, that led to all kinds of mischief in power extension, crusades, the wars of Europe from 1500 before and after, to world wars 1 and 2.
No way that organization of global religious institutions involved in this has escaped the innocent blood which these things have brought on her. And that is of course not the only time false religions and political kingly powers have colluded to bring massive misery to others and their own people, and the means was justified to the people, and sanctified for the leaders by these many priesthoods, as you say in many towns and cities pictured around Babel, whose pattern was founded in Babylon, even Babel at that first tower which was associated no doubt with the temple system and priesthood.
(Revelation 18:15-17) “The traveling merchants of these things, who became rich from her, will stand at a distance because of [their] fear of her torment and will weep and mourn, 16 saying, ‘Too bad, too bad—the great city, clothed with fine linen and purple and scarlet, and richly adorned with gold ornament and precious stone and pearl, 17 because in one hour such great riches have been devastated!’. . .
So we can see part of the process will be “devastate her and make her naked” and then “eat up her fleshy parts”, prior to total destruction “completely burn her with fire”.
This will be a massive asset, power and wealth haul out of this system, into the indebted and broke nation state king’s vacuum of debt, and we can see that is orchestrated even today against the social programs of the masses, and the weaker poorer groups in all these societies of earth undergoing this massive legalized wealth transfer into the Anglo-American finance, banking and market systems above and beyond any nations-state oversight.

So “Babylon the Great” will not be the only “treasure trove” being looted in this process.
As we see the 8th King aims the nation-state political powers to drain the public coffers, NOT their own globalist coffers of all the assets left in these nation-states, and in no way can this inertia be reversed, they are on their way, by these things which define “power and authority” to attempting world rulership, and huge institutional purges of wealth, and power will lead in the beginning, or at some point in this process we are seeing, to “Babylon the Great”.
The “fleshy parts” devoured – are the human orders managing these systems, the making naked is exposure of their uselessness and hypocrisy, this is a stripping of royalty and of all that “gold”, “precious stones” and “pearls”, and on to total erasure, because this is the One actually destroying her by these means:
(Revelation 18:7-8) For in her heart she keeps saying, ‘I sit a queen, and I am no widow, and I shall never see mourning.’ 8 That is why in one day her plagues will come, death and mourning and famine, and she will be completely burned with fire, because Jehovah God, who judged her, is strong.
This “woman” has sinned against God in a special way:
(Revelation 18:4-6) . . .And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues. 5 For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind. 6 Render to her even as she herself rendered, and do to her twice as much, yes, twice the number of the things she did
One she has injustice, therefore God whose title she uses is reproached and takes notice. Her sins are beyond the kings of this earth:
(Revelation 18:24) . . .Yes, in her was found the blood of prophets and of holy ones and of all those who have been slaughtered on the earth.”
Knowing she kills Jesus witnesses, she also murdered Jesus as well, and that murder was instigated by a false religious entity that carried greater guilt than the Romans:
(John 19:10-11) Hence Pilate said to him: “Are you not speaking to me? Do you not know I have authority to release you and I have authority to impale you?” 11 Jesus answered him: “You would have no authority at all against me unless it had been granted to you from above. This is why the man that handed me over to you has greater sin.”
Two she has Jehovah judging her.
And three and foremost in my opinion as to her identity worldwide is the fact that God is calling “His people” out of her:
(Revelation 18:4-6) And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues.
Jehovah is warning his future people to come into a righteous standing with Him by Jesus blood to avoid this judgment which will fall upon all quarters of false-religion, but God still considers many within this false worship system, “His people”.
Now we know Jehovah is calling out of religion, because the merchants and the kings system remains to witness the destruction of Babylon the Great. She is a particular global system which has some of God’s people within her, and these are advised to flee to Jehovah God.

We know she is a symbol of demon worship in disguise as well:
(Revelation 18:1-3) After these things I saw another angel descending from heaven, with great authority; and the earth was lighted up from his glory. 2 And he cried out with a strong voice, saying: “She has fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen, and she has become a dwelling place of demons and a lurking place of every unclean exhalation and a lurking place of every unclean and hated bird! 3 For because of the wine of the anger of her fornication all the nations have fallen [victim], and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the traveling merchants of the earth became rich due to the power of her shameless luxury.”
Those “birds” are the ones who steal the “seed” of truth:
(Matthew 13:3-4) “Look! A sower went out to sow; 4 and as he was sowing, some [seeds] fell alongside the road, and the birds came and ate them up.
And these are demonic:
(Matthew 13:18-19) 18 “YOU, then, listen to the illustration of the man that sowed. 19 Where anyone hears the word of the kingdom but does not get the sense of it, the wicked one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart; this is the one sown alongside the road.
The teachings of false religion are what “snatch” away from people’s understanding the reality of God’s Kingdom and what it will do in earth, as God’s will is completed on earth, as in heaven, and Babylon’s destruction precedes Jehovah and Jesus Christ’s Kingdom conquest of the entire earth at the war of the great day of God the Almighty at Armageddon, another demon inspired global situation:
(Revelation 16:13-16) And I saw three unclean inspired expressions [that looked] like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the wild beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty. 15 “Look! I am coming as a thief. Happy is the one that stays awake and keeps his outer garments, that he may not walk naked and people look upon his shamefulness.” 16 And they gathered them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Har–Magedon.
We are currently in the beginning of the completion of that “power shift” from all the nations by intrigue of governmental compromises at the nation-state level into this ending 8th King globalist one world government system, by it’s attemping monopoly of governmental authority, financial domination, and military domination, as that completes, everything else will fall into place.
“Babylon the Great” is a global false religious entity, the worldwide empire of false religion because the Revelation describes all human systems of “power”: 1. Political systems as wildbeasts, 2. the military might as “their armies” 3. commercial systems as merchants, the “kings of the earth” as a class as well, the false-prophet as a “dragon inspired” class that leads the “kings” to Armageddon, and of course the world wide empire of false-religion.

This last class symbol of Babylon the Great, is a very old and powerful core that Satan has used to mislead mankind since Eden, but it re-appears as the locus of all false-religion replicated in the language confusion at Babel, and spread worldwide in the king + priesthood systems of war and human domination by the slavery of lies, just as the “truth makes you free”, this error system has helped enslave mankind’s minds.
That is how the wildbeast also carries this burdensome woman, she is along for the free ride, NOT the guide of the wildbeast, but the harlot for the “kings” use, she aids the war system and enslavement system, to help amass global wealth and power for these kings and merchants, as well as the sins that go along with that, all the blood is in her cup, even beyond that of the wildbeast itself.
God is the one judging and destroying her personally through human agency, and these will be part of the ending events of world history in this phase, and we can plainly see the nations being maneuvered into Har-Magedon’s global situation***.
As the nation-state goes into meltdown, the Babylon the Great treasure troves will be where that bankruptcy NATURALLY will lead these nation-state power systems, just as the pillage also, the social resources of the pople in their responsibility, everybody pays but the main thief in the system, the Anglo-American power and wealth system; Rev13:11-15, and the 8th King system “image of the wildbeast”, which itself is a scarlet wildbeast as the last wildbeast to be pictured in Revelation, it is th means by which the nations are compelled to serve for the 666.
In that overdrive as it matures, all people will be targeted in some way, but Babylon the Great is an institutions ripe for the picking of these broke nation-state king systems worldwide, it is a natural, AND God inspired destruction coming into that “kingdom over the kings of the earth” where she sits a queen in great bloodguilt worldwide.
So it is kind, faithful, and loving of God to proclaim: “GET OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE!” The truth is right here in Jehovah’s witness, the testimony which must be given before the end:
(Matthew 24:14) And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.
Babylon the Great preaches her own “kingdom” in collusion with the very wildbeast who will devour and destroy her, a bitter irony.
