666 – Part1/2
We know from Daniel’s prophecy that wild beasts in prophecy symbolize human governments (societal systems), the horns picture the destructive element of these governments, the military element, the “official” and clandestine coercive power. Even on an actual wild beast, such as two battling rams, the horns are the rams power against another ram. Historically, human kingdoms in war perform the greatest atrocities systematized, and they devour each others people in war. It’s human in origin, and Satan the Dragon is the chief architect. It’s his chief form of what he is, a manslayer (John8:44). Humans are the tools he uses, systematized; such as the wild beast symbol of a system of governance.
Rev13:18
Here is where wisdom comes in: Let the one that has intelligence calculate the number of the wild beast, for it is a man’s number; and its number is six hundred and sixty-six.
This scripture clearly shows the mark of the wildbeast is a human number, it’s built by humans, and Satan is the architect through out time. As the seven headed Dragon, he is also the main intelligence behind the seven headed beast. (Rev12:3) Satan’s ouster from heaven, allows his full attention to be focused on earth, since 1914. Rev12 says “woe to the earth, for the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time”.
Rev13:14
And it misleads those who dwell on the earth, because of the signs that were granted it to perform in the sight of the wild beast, while it tells those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the wild beast…
The “image” of the wildbeast is just that, not a wildbeast, but it’s image. An image is a picture of the beast, it’s representation, it’s forum, it in itself has no power, but what is given it by the wildbeast system, which in turn gets it’s power from the dragon, is where the power comes from, that their shared thinking is where the like number of seven heads is obvious. Satan is the guiding mind. When Satan tempted Jesus, what was the big temptation for which Jesus would have received ALL the kingdoms of the world?
Worship. This remains true today, worship is Satan’s goal. For worship at this level, the dragon gives power and authority.
Rev13:15
And there was granted it to give breath to the image of the wild beast, so that the image of the wild beast should both speak and cause to be killed all those who would not in any way worship the image of the wild beast.
Satan is it’s power, it’s very “breath”, and it is not easily recognized, because Satan works through deception, life times and appearances to mislead humans. He does not come right out and say, “Here I am.” We see by bloodshed, his power to be worshiped in that blood-guilty way is present on earth today.
Rev13:2
And the dragon gave to the beast its power and its throne and great authority.
This wildbeast is a public global spokesman, “And it misleads those who dwell on the earth”. This is a comprehensive power, already tied back in time to man’s first governments since the days after Noah and the flood (Genesis 6), so it has been ruling people, and gathering worship, by misleading the whole world.
Today, it is present, and still deceiving, by many misleading means equaling, glory, power and riches, it is working on human’s lack of knowledge of what it is, misleading them to think this is all normal; it isn’t. (Heb2:14)
It is implied that it is ready for battle, and provokes God with blasphemies and lies.
Rev13:4,5
And they worshiped the dragon because it gave the authority to the wild beast, and they worshiped the wild beast with the words: “Who is like the wild beast, and who can do battle with it?” 5 And a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given it…
We already know, from Revelation, that the one who can do battle with it, is the lamb (Jesus Christ). So those who ask “who can do battle with it?” are trusting in this opposing form of Adamic human rulership and power. Christians know, Jesus Christ, the lamb, can and will do battle with the wildbeast at Har-Magedon, and pitch it into fire, it’s a destruction of what it symbolizes, collective human rulership of earth and man, and that has been given to another NOW, God’s son.

And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage the war with the one seated on the horse and with his army.
Rev17:13,14
These have one thought, and so they give their power and authority to the wild beast. These will battle with the Lamb, but, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings, the Lamb will conquer them.

Rev14:9-12
And another angel, a third, followed them, saying in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the wild beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or upon his hand, he will also drink of the wine of the anger of God that is poured out undiluted into the cup of his wrath, and he shall be tormented with fire and sulphur in the sight of the holy angels and in the sight of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever, and day and night they have no rest, those who worship the wild beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name. Here is where it means endurance for the holy ones, those who observe the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
Rev16:13-16
And I saw three unclean inspired expressions that looked like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the wild beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty. 15 “Look! I am coming as a thief. Happy is the one that stays awake and keeps his outer garments, that he may not walk naked and people look upon his shamefulness.” 16 And they gathered them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Har-Magedon.
Rev:19:19-21
And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage the war with the one seated on the horse and with his army. 20 And the wild beast was caught, and along with it the false prophet that performed in front of it the signs with which he misled those who received the mark of the wild beast and those who render worship to its image. While still alive, they both were hurled into the fiery lake that burns with sulphur. 21 But the rest were killed off with the long sword of the one seated on the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth. And all the birds were filled from the fleshy parts of them.
Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut [it] and sealed [it] over him, that he might not mislead the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After these things he must be let loose for a little while.
After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues…And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.”…where did they come from?” 14 So right away I said to him: “My lord, you are the one that knows.” And he said to me: “These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

666 - A final note on it’s social significance.
Wildbeasts in the Revelation symbol are denoting not just any wild beast, but the predators. Human systems painted with illusion which carry out the basic system of predation to base their societies upon. Once this wildbeast system generically adopted banking collusion with government partnership, and competitive markets, soon the very nature of mankind was also influenced into this obvious culture of perpetual predation to make a “living”. It became self-justified for all the glories of material wealth had also been socially accepted and indeed taught as a system of work-ship by the media system.
By that subtle worship of money, and by accepting the rituals of attaining it as justified predation, the competitive booms, bust, recessions and depressions which also ensue also create a much more literal human predation for actual survival at times. This is humans preying on each other for a “living” in a system designed to intensify this competition so that the most successfully predatory often are the epitome of success.
No wonder this attitudinal conditioning is endemic to the system products, the people, and comprehensive globally in these systems which systematically install these traits in all who imbibe it to that lawless degree plainly becoming dynamically worse in time; subtly. It’s systemic “666″ for those who are conditioned into preying on human beings, from the top example of the government’s leadership to the masses, by example, principle and system design.
Man then preys on the earth system as well. (Rev 11:18)
Though this is but one aspect of what 666 means, predatory behavior obviously defines a wildbeast. Humans involved in predatory behavior, are being marked 666 by this human system designed by Satan, for this very purpose: Human destructions.
Little wonder why Jesus Christ has commanded: “Repent, for the Kingdom of the Heavens has drawn close”.
