Q: (Revelation 11:15) If Jesus’ rule was trumpeted at the 7th sounding of trumpets then why do the soundings of the previous 6 trumpets occur after this time?
Recall that in 1914, a very different event was expected, Armageddon. Russell and the IBSA (International Bible Students Assoc.) and other researchers did not understand the significance of 1914 fully, much of it was yet unfulfilled.
Now many people like to say they were “false prophets” for this error. But was that really fair?
1. Very few Christians had tried to understand the prophecies of Daniel, which guided them in time and history into Revelation, which was revealing real-time, live (Who could fully understand and second guess that climax book of God realistically?, It’s very deep, the finale as well).
2. Both are very symbolic prophecies covering a great deal of history, and Revelation goes into in depth prophetic forecasts of the history of the last 100 years approximately, mapping the rise UK/US, the off-shoot of it’s UN prophets, and the image of the beast, all until then unformed.
3. We know now, the main prophecies were fulfilling real-time, the 7th head was officially formulating in a way which would not become apparent until WW1 was matured and over, and this meant as interpreters only hindsight could tell the whole story, it was interpretive study (took a little reflection).
Since the IBSA and others were NOT prophets, they had to interpret scripture after the events in many cases, though even picking 1914 as significant, even if the interpretation erred as to it biblically in full detail, was still kind of amazing.
Yet, this is not the main way we have ascertained prophetic meaning. Bible researchers, often had to overlay prophecy on top of well documented historic events to see the prophecy was fulfilled after the fact.
Taken all together, that’s how we have arrived at a detailed prophetic framework today, we know Rev13-16 for example, is almost fully matured to globalist government attempted checkmate.

So, how does that relate to the 7 trumpets blowing?
They were not fully ascertained until after the seventh, and the seventh as a prophecy of Jesus, previously being shown the only worthy one to open the 7 sealed scroll, from the 7th seal, comes the initiating of the 7 trumpets.
Since the 7th trumpet signaled this initial kingdom founding in the midst of Jesus enemies earthly and heavenly, Ps110, it would also initiate the ministry of the Lord’s day and the last days on earth, one last 100 year or so ministry, similar to the first century initial ministry of the apostles. (Who more than likely also play a roll in this ministry as well, in immortal spirit form.)
So, the 7th trumpet was ascertained after the fact and paying attention to history, it also shows that by that knowledge which could only be opened and approved by God, the trumpets heralds, continue overlapping through out the last days, they are signals of proclamations made globally for a purpose(Matt24:14).
The (1/3) thirds, woes, and announcement of the Kingdom all continue to be “blasted” throughout the earth, and the Kingdom’s founding itself had to come first, although it is pictured as the 7th trumpet, the ‘last days ministry’, to it’s grand finale, would be empowered from that event, so the proclamations of the meanings were ascertained to be a legal case against the 1/3 element of this world, Christendom, and that must be identified for good reason.
The 7th trumpet in effect, makes all the trumpets understandable to be included as all 7, in the final ministry. In summary the 7 mean the kingdom Luke17:20 phase had begun; Jehovah had inspected his global house of Christianity, and some problems were found, as is historically well documented: State idolatry, philosophic idolatry, and demon holidays, as just a sampling of things the Jews also broke the old covenant by practicing for centuries until God arrived for a look, as he has again.

“The whole point of the imagery here echoes and reflects something that was commonplace in the contemporary world in which Paul wrote – namely, the pattern and practice of the triumphal return to Rome of the Roman armies,” the Reformed theologian stated.
After winning a battle, Roman armies would camp outside the city and send a messenger to announce their arrival. The city would then be prepared with decorations and an arch of triumph. At a prearranged time, a signal would be made whereby trumpets would be blown. That is when the armies would march in triumph into the city.
