Great Crowd (Earthly) compared to Great Crowd (Heavenly) (Revelation 7 and 19 compared)

>Now, please answer the following question that you did not answer yet…

“could you tell me what the context of the resurrection of Revelation 19 is? In other words, when is the timing of it from scripture?”

Thanks and God bless,
Ben

Response:

Let’s keep in mind that the “great tribulation” is a period on earth of great distress, not a single event in a day, though it may begin in a day, but a sequence over a period of time (Matt24:21-22). That period of time is “cut short” by God at Armageddon. So we have a period of tribulation, and a single event, Armageddon’s war by God’s Kingdom that terminates the “great tribulation” which will have been going on for a while.

What I want to demonstrate, please be patient, is that the “great crowd” in heaven is in praise, in the MIDDLE of the “great tribulation” (The Harlot’s judgment) not yet at the Armageddon event to follow in time, so they cannot be the “great crowd” earthly, of Rev7, who are in praise AFTER Armageddon and the “great tribulation” are completed.

Also, since this “great crowd” is in heaven (telling PEOPLE to praise Jehovah), they are not the “great crowd” who still needs shepherding to life (Rev7:17), for heaven is deathless, and all in heaven are made deathless instantly upon that first resurrection, or they already are such as angels – though the earthly “great crowd” will be in agreement with the message they proclaim on earth following the great tribulation AND Armageddon (This earthly proclamation, cited below in rev7:10) is AFTER the Rev19:1-2 proclamation as will be shown as we go along):

(Revelation 7:10) . . .And they (great crowd earthly) keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation we owe to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

Notice the heavenly “great crowd” though, in the scripture below, is proclaiming these things BETWEEN “great tribulation” and the climax at Armageddon:

(Revelation 19:1-2) . . .After these things I heard what was as a loud voice of a great crowd in heaven. They said: “Praise Jah, YOU people! The salvation and the glory and the power belong to our God, 2 because his judgments are true and righteous. For he has executed judgment upon the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication, and he has avenged the blood of his slaves at her hand.”

“Babylon the Great” is destroyed as a initial prelude or in the process of the START or DURING the “great tribulation”.

That judgment in Rev19 is now completed “executed judgment” on the “Harlot” in Rev19:1-2.

BUT the Armageddon event is shortly AFTER this judgment on the ” Harlot”.

The earthly “great crowd” proclamation is AFTER “great tribulation” and Armageddon, therefore the earthly “great crowd” is not yet proclaiming salvation, for Armageddon is yet to happen as the end of the “great tribulation” that this earthling “great crowd” are going through at this time (Rev19:1-2) real-time – no completed deliverance yet.

The ” cutting short the days” (Matt24:22; 2Thess1:6) is YET to occur on earth (at the end of Rev19:19-21). The interim period, a short time between the start of ” great tribulation”, and it’s ending event, Armageddon war is noted by the fact that the wildbeast and “ten horns”, the “kings” who execute “Babylon the Great”, are still active for a period after her destruction shown in Rev17:

(Revelation 18:8-10) . . .That is why in one day her plagues will come, death and mourning and famine, and she will be completely burned with fire, because Jehovah God, who judged her, is strong. 9 “And the kings of the earth who committed fornication with her and lived in shameless luxury will weep and beat themselves in grief over her, when they look at the smoke from the burning of her, 10 while they stand at a distance because of their fear of her torment . . .

Others are still present also in this ” merchant” class:

(Revelation 18:15) . . .“The traveling merchants of these things, who became rich from her, will stand at a distance because of [their] fear of her torment and will weep and mourn. . .

And others still are present before Armageddon:

(Revelation 18:17-18) . . .“And every ship captain and every man that voyages anywhere, and sailors and all those who make a living by the sea, stood at a distance 18 and cried out as they looked at the smoke from the burning of her . . .

BUT, The Heavens are GLAD, and this relates to the “great crowd” there in heaven proclaiming praises to Jehovah God:

(Revelation 18:20) . . .“Be glad over her, O heaven, also YOU holy ones and YOU apostles and YOU prophets, because God has judicially exacted punishment for YOU from her!”

Glad they are as those in the heavenly “great crowd”:

“I heard what was as a loud voice of a great crowd in heaven. They said: “Praise Jah, YOU people! The salvation and the glory and the power belong to our God, 2 because his judgments are true and righteous.”

And recall this is between the Harlot’s judgment, and the final war of Armageddon, a brief period of time unknown in duration. Note as well, the heavenly “great crowd” is speaking to “you people” saying “Praise Jah you people!”, a heavenly proclamation to mankind.

Since the “great crowd” of human survivors in process of being delivered through that INITIAL period: the judgment of the Harlot in and through ” great tribulation”, have not yet in Rev19:1-2 passed through the war of Armageddon, they are not in the response period shown AFTER Armageddon in Rev7:10 the final salvation of the earthly “great crowd” and their salvation praise response – this has not yet happened in Rev19:1-2.

The heavenly ” great crowd” is in proclamation AT THIS VERY TIME prior to Armageddon, though in heaven therefore not human in heaven, as a “crowd” they are angelic and anointed spirit immortals noted in Rev19:1-2.

BUT this ending Armageddon destruction “cutting short the days “period (scripture below)** of Rev19:19-21 HAS YET TO OCCUR [AFTER] THAT great crowd in heaven is ALREADY glad and in praise. WHICH THE EARTHLY GREAT CROWD HAVE NOT YET GONE THROUGH.

This period must be passed, THEN the earthly “great crowd” also will rejoice in salvation deliverance through this entire period:

(Revelation 19:19-21) 19 **And I saw the wild beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage the war with the one seated on the horse and with his army. 20 And the wild beast was caught, and along with it the false prophet that performed in front of it the signs with which he misled those who received the mark of the wild beast and those who render worship to its image. While still alive, they both were hurled into the fiery lake that burns with sulphur. 21 But the rest were killed off with the long sword of the one seated on the horse, which [sword] proceeded out of his mouth. And all the birds were filled from the fleshy parts of them.

Then, AFTER Rev19:19-21, the full deliverance of the earthly “great crowd” is completed in divine deliverance through the whole period, the final fire strike war of Armageddon also completes BEFORE they proclaim salvation, for they have not yet been delivered – but they are shortly, where God pays back massive tribulation on ALL his enemies, upon the great tribulators of Satan an the wildbeast in the collapse of the Adamic system of humans:

(2 Thessalonians 1:6-10) 6 This takes into account that it is righteous on God’s part to repay tribulation to those who make tribulation for YOU, 7 but, to YOU who suffer tribulation, relief along with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels 8 in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who do not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus.

9 These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength, 10 at the time he comes to be glorified in connection with his holy ones and to be regarded in that day with wonder in connection with all those who exercised faith (great crowd), because the witness we gave met with faith among YOU.

This is also the “cutting short” of these tribulation days:

(Matthew 24:21-22) . . .for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.

Armageddon war by God’s Kingdom, IS the “cutting short” of that period of time, those days of “great tribualtion”. Then the “great crowd” earthly attribute salvation to God and to the Lamb.
