The Abrahamic Covenant is Active: It is not the Mosaic Covenant, though it led to it. The New Covenant will Fulfill the Abrahamic Covenant.
How?
There are indeed two ACTIVE covenants currently:
Abrahamic Covenant of Earth’s Nations, and the New Covenant of Heaven’s “New Creation” the “Israel of God”

Without the covenant God personally made with Abraham, at which time it’s sealing was the fact that Abraham as good as offered up his only son to God, the only-begotten son by miracle, a promise and an oath, God furthered the contract by swearing upon himself, an oath to Abraham, AND a promise to Abraham that the seed, who is Jesus Christ would come through his loins.
So, there is a covenant still in force, which precedes both the Mosaic covenant, and the new covenant, and BOTH would have come into existence by Abraham, the father of many nations.
The Mosaic covenant is different from the Abrahamic covenant, and Jesus fulfilled the Mosaic covenant by perfectly performing it, and all the commandments of God, thereby Jesus is rightful heir of Abraham by fulfillment of the law, and by the promise of God to him by his faith and righteousness, the perfected seed of Abraham.
The Abrahamic covenant is crucial in God’s purpose to restore mankind in the flesh, by a sole group in the heavens, and that’s why Jesus is a propitiatory sacrifice not just for their sins as the heavenly kingdom members, but the whole worlds.
Abraham who is not in the new covenant, but in the Abrahamic covenant represents the “families of the ground” an earthly term in Gen12, and the “nations of the earth” an earthly term also of earth, both terms also fulfilling Paul’s detail, that Abraham would be the father of many nations.
In the end only those with faith will be present after Satan’s test, and Abraham is the heir of that world through that covenant by faith, and the blessing which was to come through him, by his seed, will lift the curse of Adam, Rev22.
So that is how the new covenant ties the whole world back to the beginning under blessing not the current curse, and will fulfill God’s oath and promise to Abraham by that heavenly power of the seed in immortal life, Jesus Christ (God’s only begotten son, in pattern of Isaac), as stated to Abraham by Jehovah.
The Abrahamic covenant is very important to grasp to understand the central theme of the bible, because by it, the twelve tribes of heaven, will recover the twelve tribes of earth, and now that definitive group is defined by faith, NOT fleshly Israel which has rebelled and been rejected, but even they can in part, depending on faith, be recovered in the resurrection:
(Romans 11:15) . . .For if the casting of them away means reconciliation for the world, what will the receiving of them mean but life from the dead?
So obviously these “received from the dead” are not heavenly for they were “cast away”, yet they will be recovered and given that opportunity, and Paul shows here that the “casting of them away” must have greater meaning, because God cannot break his oath and promise to Abraham.
So it does have great meaning, their fall, was the world’s “reconciliation”, and by that “reconciliation” the heaven’s were opened to all nations to be 144000, who are by Jesus authority given to him by God, the Kingdom of the Son of his Love, by that life, “the bread of heaven”, “the waters of life”, the “light of men” death will be removed from the realm plagued by it, earth’s nations.
Abrahamic Covenant of Earth’s Nations Part 2/2
Paul showed in the above that the Israel rejected nation could only be recovered by resurrection, of course not to heaven, but to earth, for God does not reward unfaithfulness with immortality.
Paul also showed that fleshly Israel is not required for God to fulfill his oath of “many nations” to Abraham, as well as the Israel of God by “new creation”, not corrupted Israel Adamic creation.
So Galatians 6:15-16 is not concerning Israel of earth who rejects and blasphemes Christ even today, as some “new creation” they are an abomination, the Israel of God, is a new creation, by miracle, begotten by holy spirit as Jesus said they are born again to receive access to heaven. Israel in the flesh has no such begetting, but individually, by faith, they were first fruits of Jesus Christ’s first group which his ministry targeted, after which Peter was shown to invite gentiles also into the new covenant.
And finally proving that sons of Abraham are provided by faith as well as natural lineage, but NOT limited to it, we have the illustration of the many nations, some by law (lineage), others by faith the undeserved kindness, the promise, (adoption):
(Romans 4:13-17) . . .For it was not through law that Abraham or his seed had the promise that he should be heir of a world, BUT it was through the righteousness by faith.
14 For IF those who adhere to law are heirs, faith has been made useless and the promise has been abolished…. On this account it was as a result of faith, that it might be according to undeserved kindness, in order for the promise to be sure to ALL his seed, NOT ONLY to that which adheres to the Law, but also to that which adheres to the faith of Abraham. (He is the father of us all,
17 just as it is written: “I have appointed you a father of MANY NATIONS.”) . . .
Again, the “little flock” are NOT limited by the pattern of Abraham’s flesh, for God himself has that pattern perfected in Jesus, that is why these ALL, whether Jew or Gentile, must become the “New Creation”, the “Israel of God”, perfected by faith and the promise. Therefore, the 144000 “little flock” contain “many nations”, the seed of Abraham by promise and literal miracle.
So by that heavenly perfection, and the perfection Jesus previously has in the fleshly body of the “Last Adam”, heaven AND earth’s bodies can be created (heaven; born-again), and earth (regeneration Matt19:28), the bread of heaven is applied to earth, through that class, the symbolic and literal 12 tribes can be recovered on earth in the 1000 year reign, and everything is thereby gathered back to God by faith, not national supremacy of an Adamic nation, but God’s “new creation.
There by death is removed from earth, NOT man from earth, 1Cor15:26, Heb2:14, the last enemy death is destroyed on earth, death does not destroy the earthly hope and reality of living forever in a global Eden. Death must be removed where it started by sin, here on earth by righteousness and obedience.
The earthly element of the “new creation” concept, the power of the “Last Adam” takes 1000 years to fulfill and remove death entirely the “last enemy”. Thereby Jesus “bread” is applied to earthlings, and they actually become the Last Adam’s flesh, thereby removing Adam to the last molecule. Jesus is the, the Eternal father of mankind as earthlings, and Abraham’s covenant with God. is completed, Gen22 to Rev22, a whole will of God on earth, as in heaven.
