Claim: Matt.8:11 And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Issac and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. So Abraham is in Heaven.
Response:
God’s promise to Abraham, must be kept to “nations of the earth”, AND Abraham. Abraham preceded the “new covenant” so is earthly in nature, not the “new creation”.
(Genesis 22:18)..And by means of your seed all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves due to the fact that you have listened to my voice.’”
And it relates to Jesus prayer and request being answered:
(Psalm 2:8)..Ask of me, that I may give nations as your inheritance And the ends of the earth as your own possession.
And
(Genesis 1:28)..Further, God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.”
Since that blessing turned into a curse, then that too must be remedied as the promise is to Abraham, through his seed Jesus, and by that the nations would be blessed, removing the Adamic curse:
(Gen3:17-18)..cursed is the ground on your account. In pain you will eat its produce all the days of your life..
And so God can resume the blessing which Satan and Adam turned into a curse:
(Gen2:3)..And God proceeded to bless the seventh day and make it sacred, because on it he has been resting from all his work that God has created for the purpose of making.
Just because Satan, Adam, mankind, and many philosophers have attempted to change the word of God, and his will and purpose for earth, sure DOES NOT mean God is going to change his will for them.
This planet is under a battle of wills for possession and purpose, but unfortunate for them from Satan on down the line, Jehovah has given to Jesus and no more will it be abused when his power ruins them in that day:
(Rev11:18)..But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time …to give their reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth..
It shows above that the ruination of the opposers of God’s will for this planet, Armageddon, will also usher in the resurrection of the prophets, and others.
Obviously God is not destroying earth nor is he going to change his stated will for human opinion.
That clears up much confusion of everyone “wanting” to go to heaven. They think they have only one other choice, a flaming pit of hellfire. In fact earth is the destination of the nations, and most of the bibles prophets, before the new covenant, up to John the baptist.
(Matt11:12) . . .But from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of the heavens is the goal toward which men press, and those pressing forward are seizing it. . .
And he will never be throwing his “footstool” away:
(Isa66:1) . . .This is what Jehovah has said: “The heavens are my throne, and the earth is my footstool. . . .
New earth: After those things are complete, ALL the impurities and the systems that created them in human governence and society will ge gone, even forgotten, a “new earth”.
New heaven: A new heavenly rulership is established by those who have tasted flesh and death, 144,000 redeemed, and 1 perfect master of all the realms, heavenly and earthly, sinless perfection and faith. (Satan and the demons are terminated.)
(Rev21:1-4)..And I saw a new heaven and a new earth…With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more…
(Isa65:17-19) . . .“For here I am creating new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be called to mind…
