Please read this very carefully a couple times.
What the human nations are being gathered into is global – the issue in Eden as well is global sovereignty, indeed universal sovereignty – Satan (heavens realm) and Adam (earth realm) are rebel sovereignties of earth – now it is matured.
I will give Ellen White credit on the sovereignty issue, I did read that book, and believe she was sincere in her ministry (it is a great book, and a testimony to the brothers attempting to throw of Catholic Babylon through much persecutions), but as she said, the true light would arrive, and she is right, it is us, Jehovah’s witnesses from Jehovah Almighty God through Jesus Christ.
Global NATO is the army of the UN [2], since 9/23/2008 it has been spoken of in that manner, in 4/2011 Obama spoke about the re-alignment of one global command of 10, being within a specific DoD “control panel”.
So though the Global NATO website shows 10 global commands, 6 with global territory 9 of them are officially operable.
Since 1999, for the first time in human history, a globalist military “command” has drawn the globe 100% into it’s sphere of potential “influence”.
Don’t let that slip by anyone’s attention, it is very significant. Global NATO conservatively represents 75% if TOTAL global war potential, hence some are calling it UNATO.

Har-Magedon Meaning [1]
So look at the climax symbolic description “Har Magedon” a “place”.
Magedon
The Magedon refers to Megiddo and to other meanings related to it, being “organized military assembly”, “defensive military fortifications”, a “military establishment”, “military order”, “fortified defense system”, “war fortress”, an “organized complex of armies” and so on.
That easily applies to a super-garrison for defensive purposes global, but with offensive power as well, a military fortress in character at the end “gathering of the nations” – a result of that gathering at Rev16:13-16.
It’s a global super-sovereign controlled complex of all the earth’s military systems, or at least a huge majority, as Global NATO is at approximately 75% global war power potential in it’s collective parts, the US system alone is nearing 50% of the global war engine proportion. (and growing)

Now the word “Har” meaning “mount”, or mountain, is also interesting. In the bible “mountains” have had interesting symbologies, as to governments, kingdoms, ruling systems, etc:
(Revelation 6:14) . . .And the heaven departed as a scroll that is being rolled up, and every mountain and [every] island were removed from their places.
(Daniel 2:35) . . .And as for the stone that struck the image, it became a large mountain and filled the whole earth.
(Isaiah 2:2) . . .And it must occur in the final part of the days [that] the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will certainly be lifted up above the hills; and to it all the nations must stream.
(Jeremiah 51:25) 25 “Here I am against you, O ruinous mountain,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “you ruiner of the whole earth; and I will stretch out my hand against you and roll you away from the crags and make you a burnt-out mountain.”
But there is another mountain symbol that may very well apply to the “place” “called in Hebrew Har-…”, a situational development upon the entire earth systems of the planet and even space, creating a fortress of defense to hold the planet earth in demon and wildbeast control.

This symbol is in Ezekiel for Jehovah’s “holy mountain” described there. Satan is not in Jehovah’s Kingdom, so he being cast from the earth in the end period is described here, and his destruction, and notice “mountain” is the earth:
(Ezekiel 28:14-16) . . .On the holy mountain of God you proved to be. In the midst of fiery stones you walked about… you began to sin. And I shall put you as profane out of the mountain of God, and I shall destroy you, O cherub that is covering, from the midst of the fiery stones.
And here Jehovah notes the condition of his “holy mountain” earth under his Kingdom “mountain” sovereignty:
(Isaiah 11:9) . . .They will not do any harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain; because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters are covering the very sea.
So Har-Magedon is a multi-national “gathering” aided Mount Military on earth forming for a defensive position against God, and offensive use against humans. Kingdom Magedon could also be a valid meaning, a Kingdom of Warlords over Earth. Either way, we get the gist.
Global Earth Kingdom Fortress, or Kingdom Military will be a condition of an opposing “kingdom” military seizure of the planet, intent on making a defensive against God’ Kingdom authority. Ultimate showdown, the earth is the battlefield “place”, as also will be the demon “heavens”.
This is the exact challenge God gives the nations at Joel 3:9, the ultimate defiance of the global sovereignty of God’s Kingdom, they are being racked now like bowling pins for the final strike. The conglomeration is now total world government (UN), and total military fortress global (Global UNATO).
A person could not write a better script, for the ultimate showdown war of all human history, a final climax to 6000 years of Adamic human and demon world powers defiance and snubbing of God’s Kingdom and HIS Christ Jesus Ruling Sovereign King in Jehovah’s name.
This day will be celebrated in all human history, and though a speculation, I would bet it will be at “Passover”. My personal speculation.
In any event, this is a dire, severe, critical, “global situation”.
